ACTIVITIES
The Westin/Sheraton Hotel complex located side by side on a quiet hilltop near Baltimore-Washington (BWI) Airport was selected for its location
and ample, free parking for commuters. Congress attendees will have access to a variety of
dining, networking and other activities after Evening Prayer on Friday.
- Luminous Restaurant at the Westin offers Modern Pan-Asian Cuisine in a relaxed, casual setting. In good weather terrace dining is available.
- Michener's Restaurant at the Sheraton offers American Cuisine in a comfortable atmosphere. Light fare is also served outside by the pool.
- Travel to Baltimore's Inner Harbor offers an exciting opportunity to experience a variety of dining experiences: http://baltimore.diningguide.com/dl1ih.htm.
Travel to Baltimore's Inner Harbor by bus from both hotels will be available
Friday night and offers an opportunity for a Chesapeake Bay dining experience.
Please indicate on your registration form, or when you arrive
at the hotel, your interest if this option appeals to you. Cost will be determined by number of participants.
The Westin/Sheraton Hotels are also offering the same Congress hotel room rate three days before and three days after our event. This gives attendees the option of visiting a wide variety of sites in the Baltimore and Washington DC area using the light-rail, train, or metro systems.
- Baltimore is the home of America's first cathedral: http://www.baltimorebasilica.org
- A wide variety of activities are also available in the Inner Harbor area: http://baltimore.org. Perhaps this is an opportunity to bring other family members. Please keep in mind, however, that the Congress Registration Fee covers the meals of attendees and reserves space at the sessions. Unless a complete Congress Registration Fee is paid, other arrangements need to be made for their meals and activities during the day.
